I love the idea of this app, it has great potential. The upcoming full moons feature is especially neat, it's cool to see the names of them. I also like the simplified art style of the widget and the fact that the colors can be customized, but I wish I could have more details in the widget like the title of the moon phase, the moon age, etc. If I could display some of the information from the app on the widget itself then this would be perfect for me.

this is what you're looking for. no nonsense, no extra features you don't want, and a widget that looks minimalistic without a photographic moon style. it does nothing but show you the moon phase and when the next one will be. it collects no data, and it's lightweight. I've been waiting forever to find this exact app!

It looks like the best real-time Moon phase app as of currently. I was seeking an app that would display just the current Moon phase as an icon in the notification bar, and while this app doesn't, it does have a widget to be positioned on the home screen so it gets to achieve a similar principle to what I was seeking. It's simple, customizable and lightweight.
