It's not perfect, but it's just fine for what I need. there are ads, but they aren't as obnoxious as some other mp3 player apps out there. My only real gripe is you can't change any names of artists, albums, songs, etc within the app. nor can you assign any thumbnails to album art through the app. and when I use a third party app to assign said thumbnails, this app doesn't seem to recognize I've done it. fix that, and it's a five-star for sure.

I was really hopeful and everything seemed okay. Then, when an mp3 got moved from one folder to another outside of this app, it didn't recognize the change. I tried swiping down to refresh/rescan, but that only works at the folder level; within a folder of mp3 files, you can't force a rescan. This app insists that the file is still in the old folder but can't play it (because it's not there). Also, typos! Select a file, and you can "Set as rington" Kinda surprised this app is so popular.

works pretty swimmingly, does what its supposed to. few ads and removing them is dirt cheap. only problem, it sorts all the songs in albums by alphabetical order, you can change it in the files tab, which for some reason resets back to alphabetical order from time to time and you have to change it manually, but not on the albums tab. I feel like a better default would be time added cause ive never seen an album where youre supposed to listen to the songs in alphabetical order.
