How to log in.
You can access the application without a ticket and discover all the points of interest in Pompeii.
By accessing the application with a ticket, you will be able to take advantage of additional content. In this case, you will be able to access:

• By scanning the QR Code or the barcode shown on the ticket
• Manually enter the order number shown on your ticket

The Map feature allows you to discover all the points of interest that make the Archaeological Park of Pompeii one of the most important UNESCO World Heritage sites. For each point of interest, you will find descriptions, visiting hours, images, and much more. Within the map, there is an area dedicated to the services and facilities available within the Park.
In the Exhibitions and Routes feature you will find our suggestions for visits, such as dedicated exhibitions and routes.

All information about your visit will be available within the application, for example, the QR Codes associated with your ticket.
The Map functionality will propose the tour with all the points of interest that can be visited within Pompeii. For each point of interest, you will find audioguides designed for adults and children, descriptions, visiting hours, images, and much more. Within the map, there is an area dedicated to the services and facilities available within the Park.
In the Explore area of the map, you can discover all the points of interest that make the Archaeological Park of Pompeii one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites.

Ratings and reviews

Terrible app, barely functional. Forces you through the multi-step initialization process after each time you use a different app (eg: camera). It's really sluggish, locks up, the audio controls are unresponsive. Drains your phone's battery. And no it's not "free" since getting to Pompeii is not cheap, and there is very little signage in the park.

Full of useful information but awful to use. Problems include: 1. No instructions 2. Names often don't match the names on the houses 3. Can't login without the ticket, cant download audio files without logging in so large 4g download 4. It reads QR codes which don't exist at the site and the ticket has a long barcode it can't read so has to be typed 5. It's really frustrating once you find the audio when it says for more info type a number with no way of doing so 6. Feedback fails so put here

Works, but the audio clip quality is awful, like a phone call. No fun. Predownload it because there is no WiFi on site. Also there is no distinction in the quality of the way points. It might be the the most impressive building of Pompei or just some random side house, you won't know unless you click and read the text. Maybe a colour system so the main attractions are more visible?

What’s new

New LIS (Italian Sign Language) features for the Pompeii website: accessible content and maps introduced, with over 20 LIS videos in Italian and English (Coming Soon). The Villa of the Mysteries now offers an interactive site with an internal map and dedicated route. LIS Routes include dedicated cards, points of interest marked with LIS icons, and offline video downloads. Added slideshow support for the headers of routes, sites, and exhibitions.
