About this app

"A* Visualiser" is a visual editor for watching the process of pathfinding on a tiled map by the popular A* algorithm.

Edit look of the map, properties of single tiles, select a heuristic and set its weight! And all this by using simple configuration panels!

Features:
- Editing single tiles by changing their position and weight,
- Adjusting map dimensions (from 3x3 to 30x30),
- 3 available heuristics: Manhattan, Euclidean and Chebyshev,
- Adjusting weight of the heuristic,
- Switching moving through nodes in four or eight directions (diagonally),
- Drawing map area (can be toggled on/off),
- Drawing an animated path found by the algorithm (can be toggled on/off),
- 2 simulation modes: Timed and Stepwise (can be toggled on/off),
- Creating screenshots of the current view of the map,
- 2 languages: Polish and English.
