About this app

This is a functional and simple compass application without unnecessary permissions. I tried to make the application easy to use and without errors. I hope you like the compass.

I try to work hard to make my applications reliable. If you have any ideas about Compass Galaxy app, write in the comments. I will be happy to address them.

Was looking for a solid, easy-to-use, well-designed compass, and lucked into this one. I used it for basic navigation in and around the Grand Canyon, and it performed perfectly. (I don't presume to speak for serious hikers, who might want a compass with more bells and whistles. I'll only say that this compass more than met my needs.) Thanks to the designer for a terrific app!

Simple, straightforward and accurate. I use it often; on the road, in the country and in the city. Ever been in giant sprawling malls, theme parks, etc and lose track of where you are or where you parked your car; those times when GPS isn't all that helpful? Or, been driving on poorly marked secondary roads and the GPS display doesn't recognize the road? Then get this app. Excellent tool to have handy.

Exploring a new town...no landmarks....used compass....trying to find home and not to use navigation....very disorienting at mid day with no sun directional....compass was the saving factor....a few wrong turns...got home and now have landmarks to follow vs waiting for the navigational voice to tell me left or right. This is how we did it before we had a hand held computer....I like this method much better...but it does take staying engaged with your trip vs mindless driving....that's good!
