With the Binary Sweeper app it's super easy to scan for all those duplicate files and remove them securely, therefore freeing up a lot of storage space.

It's minimal, but also uniquely designed to make the most sense to you. See how you can use various features to get the best out of of the app.

➤ Full Scan Option
Use this option to scan all existing files in the storage. It scans photos, videos, audio, documents, and every other file and compares them for duplicacy. This option provides the most comprehensive scan.

➤ Predetermined Scan Options
Use this option to scan for images, videos, audio or documents independently depending upon your need. Got many photos but don't want to scan through your documents? Just use the Scan Photos option - easy!

➤ Custom Scan Option
Use this option to scan from a specific directory or scan from a specific extension group. Sometimes you just want to scan one specific folder, for one specific file time, and this is the option to go for.

The duplicate files are presented in a list that is easy to understand and customize.

➤ Select/Deselect A File
Use the checkbox on the right to select or deselect a file for deletion.
Remember that you can only select all but one file from a group. This ensures at least one copy is secured.

➤ Preview File
Simply click on the file icon to get an instant preview of the file.

You can also use the quick Filter & Sort option to customize the list.

➤ Select/deselect all items at once
➤ Sort items by file size
➤ Show same items in group
➤ Show/hide additional information

Finally, use the Delete option to securely delete the duplicate files. You will also be presented with the total storage size freed up after deletion.

found and deleted almost 7gb of duplicate files within 10 minutes. This was the 3rd app I downloaded trying to do this and the first 2 were rated higher, but both wanted me to pay for a subscription. 10/10 Will be downloading and using this on all of my devices!

For an app that only does one simple thing, it gives the user too few options & controls. For example, limiting to a user-input file type (example: .pdf) or limiting to subfolders under one specific folder (example: ringtones). It ONLY scans the entire device. filetype restrictions are ONLY four predetermined categories.

👍 Very good start, I would like to see added; the ability to preview the files (especially photos), as well as an added option for removing/deleting the original file, so as to, delete all traces of a specific file; instead of only deleting the dupes. What exists now is a solid base from which, I hope the dev will continue to build on. I (especially) appreciate the simplicity and the minimalist design thus far.
