Typing Hero works great for some of what I need. I would love it to work in password input boxes, and strangely, sometimes it does, and sometimes it doesn't. If it ever works always, will update to 5 stars. Edit: Thank you for the reply. Is there a reason that it does work in some password boxes though? +1 star for the quick reply Edit: Understood, I guess out of your control then. 5 star app for what it is able to do!

UPDATE: I found out there is no way NOT to trigger text expansion if you use a word that contains your shortcut. There should be a time out time ( ex you keep typing, more than the length of your shortcut then it won't input your pre-saved word or phrase). I have a shortcut word "ca n", I put a space in there because I ca n't defeat the auto-fill. ★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★ Very cool app. My only suggestion is, I would like to use the same keyword and have multiple choices come up for permutations of the same shortcut. I used a keyboard ( that is no longer maintained) and I was able to use the same 3 letter shortcut for multiple entries. I would type "ilu" and get I ❤ you babe , I❤ you kiddo, I ❤ you mom and so on. One more th★★★★★ing, 2 digit shortcuts would also be great....And dark mode.★★★★★★★★★★

Pro version requires a monthly subscription which is a little much for me. However developer is active and seems to care a lot about this app. With 17 updates for this year, or over 50 updates since Nov 2018, it's a well interested program and for the most part exactly what I was looking for. I may have considered if one time payment but this type of program I had to pass. Best of luck. =)
