About this app

HIV Care Tools features free point‐of‐care tools for clinicians caring for people with – or at risk for – HIV infection.

• A new ARV interactions checker gives quick, simple management recommendations for all documented ARV medications.
• Quick guides provide essential information for HIV testing, pre‐exposure prevention (PrEP), post‐exposure prevention (PEP), rapid start of antiretroviral treatment (ART) for those testing HIV positive, and resources to help pay for HIV medications.
• Easy‐to‐use, secure, clinical calculators and screeners for common co‐occurring conditions are provided, these include BMI, CrCl, FIB-4, PHQ-2, AUDIT-C, and others.
• One-touch access to phone‐based, free, national clinician warmlines for expert support with HIV prevention and care, substance use, and hepatitis C.
• Local and regional contact information for AIDS Education and Training Center Program experts who offer free training and capacity building support for the clinical care team.

All app content is accessible without Internet access but can only be installed and updated when the device is connected to the internet.
