About this app

Ramayana is one of the great epics of Hinduism written by Valmiki. It contains 24,000 sloka's in 7 kanda's and 500 sarga's

Ramayana is the story of Rama (Lord Vishnu's avatar), whose wife Sita is abducted by the demon king Ravana.

The entire book is made up of the following chapters:
Bala Kaṇḍa (Book of childhood)
Ayodhya Kaṇḍa (Book of Ayodhya)
Araṇya Kaṇḍa (Book of the forest)
Kishkindha Kaṇḍa (Book of the monkey kingdom)
Sundara Kaṇḍa (Book of beauty)
Yuddha Kaṇḍa (Book of war)
Uttara Kaṇḍa (Last book)

This simple app lists out all of the above chapters with the sloka's in Hindi/Sanskrit.

All 7 kantams of Valmiki Ramayana Text in Devanagari Script in your palm. you can choose the chapter you want. For those who want to do Parayana it is very good. Also if you press the En button for each sloka you get the text ib Devanagari and word by word meaning in English plus the summary of the sloka. Fantastic is the only word to describe this application.

I had gone through the whole of this translation and find many helpable advise. In one or two places chapters are interchanged. Meaning of all words are incorporated but if individually given it would have been better.

There is no translation below each shloka, on pressing En icon it is redirecting to a web page where there is translation. What is the necessary to redirect instead can be written below itself.
