About this app
The Valais offers plenty of events as varied as they are unusual. literary events, rock concerts on the mountain pastures, outdoor sculpture parks, photo exhibition on dams. A landmark of a dynamic culture, plains and mountains.
To introduce and explore this cultural diversity, the app "Culture Valais +" was created by integrating augmented reality animations; after downloading the app, place your smartphone above images, including large format, and ... surprise!
8 themes were defined: arts (theater, circus arts), music (classic and current), literature, film and photography, visual arts (painting, sculpture, game art), architecture, heritage and living traditions.
Each time, several sites, venues or festivals to visit are available, in addition to quotes from artists who make the Valais canton contemporary, full of culture and heritage.
Illustrations of 8 main themes are the work of students from the Vocational School of Contemporary Arts (EPAC - Saxon) the texts were written by Magali Barras-Brouyère and Cornelia Heynen-Igler. The entire project was financed by the Culture Department of the Valais canton Valais and the delegation of the Loterie Romande.
