Overview
5D Solar System is an Augmented Reality (AR) planetarium app for XREAL Glasses that brings the wonders of the solar system and beyond directly into the user’s environment. User can explore planets from an orbital perspective, learning about their unique characteristics, atmospheres, satellites and geological features as if they were real astronauts.
App supports 7 languages: English, Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Spanish, Russian.

Solar System View– in a fully immersive AR mode observe 8 Planets and Pluto as they orbit around the sun, forming our Cosmic neighbourhood. Increase orbital speed to see the rotation and the trajectory of the planets. See system in 3 different AR views to sense the scale, rotation and light on different planets.

Choose a Planet or Moons– Select any planet or moons in our solar system to bring it into your space using AR. View a planet with the corresponding moon(s) as they orbit a planet, explore planet’s surface features, as they switch between day and night cycles.

Orbital Tilt – Observe planetary tilt to understand the change of the seasons on a planet.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

STEP 1:
Download 5D Solar System app (google play) to your Android or XREAL Beam Pro device.

STEP 2 - Android device:
1. Download and install Control Glasses (link: https://public-resource.xreal.com/download/NRSDKForUnity_2.4.1_Release_20250102/ControlGlasses-1.0.1.apk)
2. Download and install 5D Solar System applications (Google Play Store link)
3. Run Control Glasses app
4. In the app select 60 or 72hz Refresh Rate.
5. Click on “+Add App” and select “5D Solar System” app for Auto-launch
6. Connect XREAL glasses and wait for 5D Solar System app to start

STEP 2 - Beam Pro via Nebula app:
1. Download and install 5D Solar System app
2. Go Files/Apps/5D Solar System and select Allow Run over other Apps.
3. Run Nebula
4. In Nebula run 5D Solar System app
