GPixel is a turn-based race on a pixel grid, simulating a car race on a sheet of squared paper.

Plan your move in advance: choose your gear, set your steering angle and push on the accelerator!
Strategy is important, don’t go too fast before curves or you won’t have space to brake.

Compete in the World Tour and climb the leaderboard, are you ready to be the best driver?

Different Game Modes:
- World tour: unlock all seasons and tracks, improve your scores and beat your rivals!
- Time Countdown: finish the race before the time goes to zero!
- Moves Countdown: you have a limited amount of moves to finish the race. Plan your trajectory carefully!
- Night Race: find your way to victory when it’s dark!
- Clouds, Fog, Cloudy Night: can you win in different weather conditions?
- Quick Race: play a track of your choices against the AI or your friends on the same device. Up to 4 players can race on the same device!

Interesting idea for a game, a turn based racer that feels more like a management sim than a racing game. But easy to pick up and play on the go. Best suited for phones. Can only be played in portrait, has no hardware controller support and has swiping gestures so cannot be played with screen mapping. So unsuitable for the retroid pocket 4 or tablets in landscape

Fun little game, could definitely be fleshed out a little more by the speed on each turn changeable instead of gears, so you could keep upping the speed almost infinitely but you run the risk of carrying too much into the next corner and not being able to make the turn. This would definitely make the game more challenging and thus more fun,in my opinion. You could even keep the old style. To be fair I haven't played very far through the game, so this might become the case, although we shall see.

It goes from being completely stupidly easy to being too challenging within 1 level. And not in a good way, but just to pummel you with ads. And anyway, more importantly it completely misses the point of the original game by being completely unrealistic. You can basically be going at full speed and make a 135-degree turn without losing speed
