Interpretation of Tahlili Surah Al-Fatihah

There are a number of matters related to the discussion of Al-Fatihah's letter before we dissect the verses one by one, namely regarding the naming of the letter, its descent, the number of verses, its position, and what is also important is the law regarding reading the letter of al-Fatihah in prayer.

1. Naming Letters

There are at least three agreed names for the letter Al-Fatihah, namely:
- Fatihatul book
- Ummul Koran
- As-Sab'u Al-Matsani

The basis is the following hadith:

Alhamdulillahi rabbil alamain are sab'ul matsani and al-Quran al-Azhim which were revealed to me.

2. The descent

Surah Al-Fatihah is one of the letters that the scholars have different opinions on when it was sent down, did it come down in Mecca or in Medina?
