About this game

Orbliterator is designed to provide a truly authentic bubble-shooting experience, while also delivering a full suite of features and customisation that is not commonly seen in similar games of its kind. Orbliterator aims to preserve and maintain the traditional simplicity that people are familiar with, without all the extra garbage that is often tacked on as an attempt to stand out from the rest.

Features:
- Instantaneous and responsive gameplay: never experience any delays or loading times
- Polished visuals, clean backgrounds and simple animations that enhance visibility
- Simple, classic gameplay
- Super clean and snappy menu interface
- Free of obtrusive pop-up advertising and push notifications
- Customisable interface and visual themes
- Detailed play statistics, replay system and a vast array of configurable settings
- All content is provided completely free, including over 400 unique levels to blast through

Orbliterator is suitable for playing anywhere at any time. Game progression is automatically saved so that players will always continue exactly from where they left off. The game allows an infinite number of orbs to be simultaneously fired, providing players with more precise control over what orbs they receive as well as the ability to escape dire situations using quick reflexes.

Roadmap:
- Level editor
- Online / global leaderboards
- Progress saving via Cloud
- View individual level statistics via the levels library
- Dedicated customisation screen
- Replays filter and frame-step functionality
- Visual descriptions for the game settings

How to play:
1. Tap the screen to launch an orb in that direction.
2. Group together 3 or more orbs of the same colour to remove them from the screen.
3. Remove all orbs from the screen to proceed to the next level.
4. ????
5. Profit.

1.8.4 changes since 1.7.9:

Additions:
- Re-added preloaded orb distortion effect.
- Added new platform indicator light burst effects.
- Levels can now be selected and skipped via the level library.
- Integrated Google Analytics functionality.
- Added new option icons and option functionality for cycle rates of 90 and 120 (only available for devices with 90 / 120 hertz displays).
- Added a code entry button in the settings screen that can be used to gain access to exclusive content.
- Added a new set of orb sprites.
- Added a stat for how many levels a player has skipped.
- Added 2 new levels.

Fixes:
- Fixed a data corruption error caused by an orb match containing an out-of-bounds orb_index.
- Fixed an issue where pressing the menu button or changing orb sprites (+ any single-frame skip) with a cycle rate of 30 would pause battery optimisation logic.
- The game version can no longer cause real conversion errors during the main data loading process.
- Corrupted data is now appended as error entries to the main data file, rather than saving a new file for each occurrence.
- When the settings surface is lost, the label alpha for disabled buttons is now correctly reused.
- Fixed some funky behaviour caused by selecting a level from the level library while a replay was active.
- Some special effects and their associated settings are now disabled if the device does not support them (avoids fatal crash).
- Fixed an issue caused by the press release listener not triggering for the library controller when the game loop was blocked via a system message.

Improvements:
- The main menu button is now highlighted for first-time users.
- Added +1 platform tolerance to levels 222, 229, 288, 302, 360 and 369.
- Alpha blending is now disabled when drawing the background to improve performance.
- The current orb style (along with background and menu theme) is now saved and loaded from the options file (may be temporary).
- Reduced difficulty of levels 69 and 288.
- The menu can now be closed by pressing anywhere outside the main button area.
