This would be quite a useful app to practice formation, but way too many adverts; after every excercise and every time I press the back button, is far too intrusive and breaks my concentration. Also it marks me wrong when I'm sure I've formed the character correctly. Sorry, but all in all frustrating and annoying. (And incidentally, it's spelt RATING not RATTING.)

Good for learning how the katakana and hiragana scripts look but for the tests the recognition is horrible. Useful if you want to learn about the scripts but not for writing purposes. The ads don't really help either

Horrible recognition. You're better off looking at pictures and eyeballing it. The app failed me on letters that I got spot on and passed me on some that I completely mangled.
