The current version of BAWAG Banking App is not optimised for tablets.
For security reasons, the app does not work on "Rooted Devices".

Ratings and reviews

App tells me "Root detected ... " which is why I'm not allowed to use it. My phone isn't rooted and I could use it before. Edit (Sep 3rd, 2019): The issue seems to be resolved, now I can use the app normally and it seems to work well, except the sliding gesture for recent transactions. If the feedback slider/button is aligned with the recent transactions view, the second page cannot be accessed. If I scroll a bit down, it works fine.

Not working properly, due to technical errors and bugs. I uploaded the latest version, and could not even get further than the red welcome screen when I got "technical error .. try again later". I use a Huawei phone in case this info helps. Unverändert, auch mit dem letzten Update, erhalte ich noch bevor ich wirklich in die App gelange: "during getting silent tan. Technical error occurred." Supermühsam, dass die app noch immer funktioniert.

Downloaded it twice but did not install on my Android phone. Finally it opened to tell me "a technical error has occurred please try later" this continues after the latest update on opening the App. This App is in need of serious fixing. After the update 02/09/19 still the same error message: "a technical error has occurred please try later." Right at the start! What is it with this app. And read the comment before sending any random.reply to this comment!
