The ABC Reading Eggs Learn to Read app features hundreds of fun maths, reading, spelling and alphabet games, along with phonics activities, word puzzles and over 3000 e-books for homeschooling Eggsplorers to enjoy!
The app instructs homeschoolers on the five essential components of reading – phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary and comprehension.
The ABC Reading Eggs homeschool guide covers years K-5 and also includes science and social studies.

Reading Eggs has been a breath of fresh air. After using competitor's apps I can say that this program is well organized and effective. It fosters learning rather than just game playing and the placement test is spot on. Both my 2 year old and 4 year old use it and it is fun, engaging and most importantly helpful for their individual needs and development. I love being able to track their progress and also be involved when they play or feeling confident in letting them navigate the game alone.

This is the only reading app that has actually helped my daughter with her reading (we tried Duolingo abc and adapted mind but she wasn't learning anything or enjoying them), the kids can start at any level and feel competent, I get a report with exactly how much she's learned. It's amazing! And the customer service is the best I've ever seen from an app. I signed up for the subscription twice on accident, sent them an email, and within minutes they had responded and refunded the 2nd charge.

My two year old enjoyed playing the games on the app. For the games where he had to pick the correct letter or number he would purposely choose the wrong one because he thought the sound it made was funny, so that was a little frustrating. The app would also regularly glitch. It would freeze in the middle of the game, play the sound for the next activity, but only show the background, and was generally glitchy. The app was installed on a "compatible device" so it was rather annoying.
