As many reviewers have been saying, this app used to be great but it no longer works. Every time I open it (when I know there's an alert in my area), I get a notification (through Android system notifications) that says "This is required to send your current location status to the server." Tapping on the notification simply takes me into the CodeRED app. The notification is not cleared until I force close the app. Useless! (I have granted all location permissions in settings, to no avail.)

Worked fine until needed. During the CA Lighting Complex fires, with a good bit of California on fire, the app notified me of a new alert in my area. When I tapped the notification, the app crashed. Upon restarting it, it asked me to sign in again, then responded "Your request could not be completed" The issue is probably the servers got overloaded, but that's the issue with an emergency app designed and tested under normal circumstances, but only really used in abnormal ones.

This app worked great when our city recommended it to us. I haven't been getting notifications for a while (I thought because we moved). I went on to try and change my address, can't find how to do that, but it did show me the tornado warning that had been expired. I get calls and texts from this system, but I'd like to be able to have an app that works and be able to change my address so it's accurate. The fact that it doesn't work like it did is disappointing because it was a good app. It's not anymore.
