After spending over three hours trying to get version one to work (nobody told me they had two apps), I finally found this one and it actually worked. However, it's a bit unresponsive, doesn't always connect to the air filter and is frustratingly slow when it does. Sadly, the air filter is supposed to be a premium product, and the state of this app (and the Alexa skill) makes me somewhat regret my purchase.

By accident I came across this app (it's not linked from the official website or from the booklet that came with the device). Since the previous version of the app is completely unusable, I was happy and I figured I just used the outdated version and this one would work. I was wrong and this one is also unusable: it's stuck on listing the local wifi networks and nothing ever shows up. Tried with 2 different phones, same issue on both.

Stalled set-up. Adding a new device, the app quickly found my Briiv device but then failed to list out the wi-fi networks available. There do not appear to be any options for keying the network details manually as there were in the first version. I obviously can't comment on functionality as I never saw more than the set-up screens.
