High above the picturesque Elbe Valley, the late Gothic Albrechtsburg rises. Built in the 15th century, the Albrechtsburg Castle is the oldest castle in Germany.
Schloesserland Saxony and Albrecht Meissen invite you to visit. All floors of the castle are permanently available to the public. With the goal of comprehensive presentation of castle history architecture, murals, interior, historical documents, authentic objects, models and multimedia applications are presented in five subareas.
For deaf visitors, there is a guided tour of the permanent exhibition by video in German sign language. You can download the guide in German sign language with this app for free on your smartphone.
