The negative reviews must be from people who don't understand the game. It is Wordle and playing it like Wordle is a mistake. You eliminate letters that you don't want to be in the answer and in doing so you back the ap into a corner where the remaining letters can only form a few words. And also unlike Wordle, you can play Absurdle multiple times a day by letting a 30 sec advert play.

It seems most reviewers don't understand how the game works. If you approach it like Wordle, you're going to get frustrated, i.e. the same starting word and tactics will mean you end up at the same word. What works for me is playing Wordle first and using that day's Wordle answer as a starting point for Absurdle. Star removed because the stats don't work properly - 6 guess wind are counted as 7, 5 as 6, etc

At first I kept starting with same words I used for wordle and quardle and it was boring! Then I figured out how to direct the game to be more challengeing. Start with letters you want to eliminate first, like money. Otherwise your final word will always be mammy! Pick words that eliminate as many lett we rs as possible. Once you figure it out, if can be quite fun!
