The NLBV eBeihilfe App can be used by all persons entitled to aid in the state of Lower Saxony and by institutions and corporations for which the Lower Saxony State Office for Payments and Benefits (NLBV) processes the aid and who have already received an aid notification from the NLBV. After the app has been installed, the app must first be registered. When the registration process is complete, receipts can be submitted to the NLBV. The necessary receipts (eg doctor's and dentist's bills, prescriptions for medicines) can be photographed with the app. If an eA/eP barcode pair is printed on the receipt, it is sufficient if the barcodes are scanned. After photographing the receipts or scanning the barcodes, they can be submitted to the NLBV by sending them.
