Our newly designed app allows customers to access and manage their National Grid accounts anytime, from anywhere. Make a one-time payment through Speedpay, or find nearby payment locations. Electric customers can report and check the status of a power outage and view outage maps. Easily access contact information to report electric and gas emergencies or receive general customer support.

App needs an overhaul. Been using the website for years and it's always been clunky. Only really log in to check my energy usage. Tried to sign into the pay my bill section just to see if it works and it refuses to let me log in. With national grid rolling out new smart meters, updating their app should be a massive priority. Edit: the website is now showing energy usage from my smart meter. Thanks for responding to my opinion. Looking forward to seeing an updated app from national grid.

Useless app. I got an email this morning 6-26-24 that my monthly bill was due in one day, 6-27-24. I know that I had set up a payment to pay my bill two days before it was due. I logged onto the app only to find that that you can't do anything but pay the bill, you can't see any payments that have already been paid, you can only choose to pay it again. I had to log onto my computer to see that the payment was paid and received the previous day. Why can't payments be seen on the app?

Terrible after the update. Only selection of cities/states are Massachusetts and New York. Before the update I could choose Rhode Island and make changes to my account and pay my bill. Now I need to input my account number and it constantly crashes afterwards. With the money I'm paying every month, you'd think they'd have a somewhat efficient app... NOPE

Hello, National Grid has transferred its Rhode Island operations to Rhode Island Energy (RIE), a PPL Company. RIE's mobile-friendly website, www.rienergy.com, offers services like bill payments, energy usage tracking, and emergency reporting for both gas and electric issues.
