👉Directly call phone numbers: this permission allows users to make calls quickly and easily by the phone button on the chat page.
👉Read your contacts: this permission allows Color SMS to get the contacts of the messages and choose contacts when users create a new message.
👉Take pictures and videos / Record audio: These permissions work for the feature MMS when you want to send a photo or audio to others.

Basically ColorSMS is an application that allows sending SMS text messages and multimedia messages. Therefore, the application needs to be selected as the default SMS application in order to be able to perform basic functions such as sending and receiving SMS and MMS.
Can I use ColorSMS without default SMS permission. All features related to SMS and MMS will stop working if the application is no longer the default SMS application

Definitely aesthetically pleasing. I'm just starting to check it out. I'm pretty picky about functionality. 98 percent of any kind of apps don't last more than 3 to 5 minutes with me (that's if they even make it past reviews and pricing). I'll be back. If it's not soon then I'm liking the app, tentatively 🤔 Nope. Ads every 2 mins or so. No way to see contacts, would freeze in the midst of typing, bla bla bla. Sorry

This app is better visually than all of the boring text message apps but it's missing some important features... no way to lock a conversation or pin it to the top so it's easy to get to. Would also like to have more convo bubble options and be able to manage speed of background animation.

Works mostly well, but rated 3-stars because of fast-increasing, disruptive ads and very slow load of background colours! Advice to developers: Yes, users already know and agree to ads for supporting developers and improving apps. But users equally deserve not to be disrupted, or denied usefulness of apps by ads that are disruptive, or unskippable! So pls re-design ads as to remove interruptions, reduce ads sizes, frequency and make ads user-friendly, user-interested and not noisy.
