Ever been in a gridlock situation? Pressed for time and stuck in traffic, wishing that you knew an alternate route for your destination? Or ever wanted to register a complaint about illegal activities right on the spot? Ever been in need of nearby rescue personnel to overcome any problems that you might be having while traveling? These are just a few of the issues that citizens face on a daily basis in Peshawar. Under the KP Civic Innovation Fellowship Program 2017, the KP Traffic Police has now developed a complete solution to overcome these obstacles.
Raabta will focus on 6 major traffic-related problems, faced by citizens on a daily basis:
Raabta Traffic Violation Complaint - where the public can report complaints about any problem or potential traffic violation they observe in real time
Raabta Live Traffic Updates - the public will be able to see live traffic updates in the form of either a busy, clear or congested road
Raabta License verification - This module will help the public to verify their driving license directly through the app in real time
Raabta Traffic Education - This module will contain different graphical symbols meant to be used to educate people about traffic rules and regulations
Raabta Challan Verification - To overcome corruption in Traffic Police, this module was developed to verify traffic violation tickets
Raabta Emergency contacts - This module will allow the public to find a nearby rescue personnel to overcome any problems that they may be facing while traveling.
