THE STORYLINE

Forest Hill, 1986.
A village known for its tranquility becomes a scene full of mysteries with the disappearance of some teenagers.
Steve, a 13-year-old teenager, arrives at his uncle Johnny's house to spend the summer and mysteriously a new disappearance occurs: Molly, his neighbor and new acquaintance, disappears without a trace after a series of strange events.

Ratings and reviews

Fun at times, frustrating at others. Needs a hotspot indicator; clicking on everything a dozen times until finally something happens. Hotspots are tiny apparently. Can't tell difference between a bone, rock, or just background stuff. I guess I am done with game now. Stuck in chapter 7 with Molly with 2 statues and a big dial puzzle. No clue at all how to solve the puzzle, can't leave room to look for clues.....

Charming style and atmosphere, fun but not-too-hard puzzles and mini games, simple but compelling story, and most importantly: well paced. You get just the right balance of story and gameplay, and never feel like you're stuck in a loop of interminable dialogue or cutscenes, and never have to do pointless backtracking, which isn't uncommon in the genre. Great point and click adventure for anyone who wants to be totally immersed for the duration of the game.

*"UPDATED** Excellent retro style PNC adventure - mini game elements were pretty irritating to get through - the developer is open to feedback and wanted to solve the issue - brilliant! There is now a functionality added to skip these mini games and get back to the game proper - awesome service.
