Ratings and reviews

There are multiple people signing and different variations of signs are shown. It's structured a lot like Duolingo EXCEPT Duolingo offers a way to completely learn a language without a subscription. As a user that has been with Duo for years without a subscription, there is room for micro transactions in your structure to ensure profit without trying to put yet another wall around accessibility.

The app is a lot like Duolingo, except it's for learning ASL. It's easy to navigate and learn ASL as a beginner. I was really enjoying it overall! The "slow down" button does help me to learn the quicker signs easier. HOWEVER... It basically gives you an ultimatum- You can't progress without PURCHASING a subscription. Even with the promise of a 7-Day Free Trial, I am still feeling like it's really expensive! Options are to pay $18/monthly, $48/billed every 3 months, or $120/billed annually.

Only giving 2 stars cause I enjoyed how it taught, but almost $20/month for something I could learn on youtube??? I think $5/month sounds more than reasonable. But I guess it's just not for me 🤷🏻‍♀️ (you only get about 2 to 3 days before you can't even use the app without putting your credit card info in 🙄 wish there was a better "free" version
