The "BandarayaKu" application has been developed to provide a more convenient and comprehensive platform for the public to access various services offered by the Melaka Historic City Council (MBMB), without the need to visit the service counter. Originally designed to facilitate bookings for MBMB facilities such as halls, courts, stadiums, and swimming pools, the application has now been expanded to include a range of essential municipal services for the benefit of the community.
The Melaka Historic City Council (MBMB) is one of the Local Authorities (PBT) in Melaka responsible for administering the Central Melaka area. Various facilities and services are provided for the wellbeing of the local community, in line with MBMB's vision of a "Sustainable and Smart Historic City" and mission to "Drive a Livable Heritage City Through Efficient and Responsive Municipal Governance."
Accessible through the website (https://bandarayaku.mbmb.gov.my) or by downloading the "BandarayaKu" mobile application from iOS Appstore, the platform now supports a wide range of services. These include facility bookings, assessment tax management, compound checking and payment, parking checks and payment, booth rental applications, miscellaneous bill settlements, and access to digital receipts—all within a single, user-friendly application.
Users must register (registration is free) before accessing these services. Payment transactions can be made via e-wallet or MBMB's Online Payment System – MyFPX MBMB, with confirmation and notifications delivered through the app’s messaging feature.
