About Meow Wolf:
Meow Wolf started in 2008 as a small collective of Santa Fe artists sharing an interest in publicly displaying their works and developing their skills together. This collaborative approach blossomed into Meow Wolf's distinctive style of immersive, maximalist environments that encourage audience-driven experiences. We have numerous full-time artists on staff, working in a huge range of media, including sculpture, painting, fabrication, digital art, writing, film and more. Additionally, we prioritize collaboration with local artists in each exhibition location. The Meow Wolf app is our latest creation… or discovery, depending on your perspective.

Ratings and reviews

Doesn't link up well to experiences. Would be a nice agument to the boop card but not a replacement for it. Removes the wonder and mystery the other exhibits that use boop cards have. I don't want tied to my phone during my trip and only be able to play through the phone. I'd go lower than one star for how it removes the immersion.

I never really got the app to work well in the experience ("Server error" a lot though it has full permission) but after I had left it notified me it had unlocked some extras like behind the scenes videos and games that are keeping me entertained.

this is a great enhancement to the exhibits. it's awesome to be able to take the videos home and watch them. in the exhibit, it's difficult to hear and kinda hard to sit still long enough to watch an entire video. so that's probably my favorite part about the app.
