After the last update on Android 13 the Bluetooth connection interrupts when you press VERIFY to save the azimuth. After the latest update of the app the bug is still there.

Won't accept target azimuths higher than 39 degrees 🙄 figured out using 0.00 and then inputting your target azimuth works ie 0.0060 for a target of 60 degrees.

The Huawei keyboard implementation is broken. Search on play.google.com for 'GBoard' and install it. Another user confirmed this resolves problems entering values on Huawei phones.

The Android screens are used to select the Wifi network to connect to. The Bluetooth option you mention is only used to select a Bluetooth rangefinder for AGL measurements.
