Mawlānā Dr. Muhammad Fazlur Rahman Ansari (RA) born in 1914 was a versatile genius. An outstanding alim, philosopher, educationist and spiritual luminary, his contribution to Islamic resurgence has been widely acknowledged. His broad knowledge of modern sciences together with his vast Islamic learning enabled him to expand the message of Islam that was inspiring to both the masses and the intellectual elite.
He completed his hifz-ul-Qur'ān at the age of six years and six months. In 1932 he enrolled at the Aligarh Muslim University for his BA degree and majored in English and Arabic. He achieved a 98% in Philosophy - an unbroken record to this day.
