Ratings and reviews

While I don't like the constant push to rate the app or that it's a subscription product, I do absolutely LOVE how good it is at OCR! It's WAY better than any of the other apps I tried! I needed to scan in several (50-60) pages of PDFs of historical leaflets printed in the early 1900s. This app made it very easy & the OCR accuracy is definitely in the 90% range.

v10.4.10, plus many prior versions continue to plague the app w/delays when opening an image. The result is a substantial 30+ second lag before the image can be converted to text. **Furthermore, the lack of a crop editing tool requires the processing of the entire image, thus capturing unwanted text. **Plus, there's no email support & no developer responses to the reviews on the Play Store.

Wanted to copy a complicated URL printed on the front of a menu. The menu want a garish mess, but this app processed it fairly quickly and quite accurately. I'm really impressed (and I don't impress easily). Tried another well-rated app that didn't work at all. Only problem is that is a subscription-based model - I simply don't use something like this often enough to make it worth that. Guess I'll just put up with the ads.
