Dreadful first experience for my better half who called with battery down to 1%, I found that PC was the closest. Got the app and account setup with payment card, etc. Plugged in, tried to start the charger from the app, says it's started charging... boom, charging stops. Tried that a few times but no joy. Moved to the next station and same thing happens. Saw multiple $50 charges and credits on the payment card so it can't be a payment issue. Gave up, moved on...

It would be very helpful if this app told you which chargers were not working. Even better if it indicated poor charging speed on a supposed DC fast charger.

Great chargers, when they work! All locations are clean and well-lit at night. The app is easy to use. All good, except that half the stations we visited on a trip from Montreal to Victoria were (literally) not working... and often showing as fully operational in the app. That's terrible, of course, and the telephone support from their 3rd party partner is, well, 3rd-rate at best. I am a fan of Petro-Canada. The extensive network was a primary motivator for our trip but it does not yet merit 5*
