First impression is not the best. On its surface this seems like an okay roguelike shooter, with a playable character that isn't particularly appealing or unappealing. Servicable, I guess, though that puts it below several similar offerings that do more.[EVERYTHING IS OVERPRICED] The value you get out of the premium currency is not in line with other games. 800 crystals for the premium battle pass. That's $20. And that's not an extra premium version of a cheaper premium upgrade, that's the only upgrade. And it offers similar features found in other games' upgrades, while costing 2-4x more. The free pass doesn't look bad, but that's way too much for premium, $5-10 is the sweet spot for games like this. Have to factor in that other games are being played, how much non-whales are comfortable spending ($20 would have to be something really worth it), and just how much this game is actually worth paying into (roguelike shooters are generally not worth whaling, inexpensive packs and weekly/monthly subs, with reasonable pricing, are better). Chests seem similarly overpriced, though it's unclear if the items listed are all included or just the potential loot pool. [COULD HAVE BEEN TWIN-STICK SHOOTER] Instead, it's a single-stick shooter with auto-targeting. Which is fine, but is more appropriate with portrait-mode. With landscape-mode, it's a waste because the layout is ideal for twin-stick, and twin-stick provides more precise control. [FUSING EQUIPPED ITEMS CONSUMES ENERGY AND DESTROYS THEM?] I'm not sure I get this. It seems like I'm paying energy to destroy gear to get experience for my account. Fusing implies they're being combined into something better, which the tutorial specifically demonstrates. I'm not sure why fusing equipped gear into experience is a thing, or why it's also called "fusing" and not something more accurate, like "dismantle" or "break down." [ATTACK ANIMATIONS ARE ODD] When firing the first shot, it comes from wherever the barrel of the gun is during the idle animation. This results in the shots starting from slightly away from the barrel, or sometimes from the character's feet. I've seen a few other games where shots don't quite come from the weapon, and I don't know why they don't get fixed. [NO MAP OR SIDE-MISSION DISPLAY] There's no map. I got a side-mission from a robot to find his parts, and I'm just wandering around blindly because there's no map showing where I am and where I've been. There's also no indicator in the hud of how many parts I need and have found, I can only see that by finding the robot again (and I have to search for it, because there's no map).

Fun game. The reward system is broken though, ex. After the the end of a mission you receive rewards and you do not get the entirety of what is stated as a reward. Also the game for some reason starts spawning death orbs randomly and in extreme amounts and in weird places,ex. During a mission there is a safe space merchant position and they will spawn there.

An enjoyable, but repetitive, experience. There's basically three variations of map. Grinding is very obnoxious. Really the only way you're getting legendary gear is by beating a boss every 10 levels, or paying real money. This isn't cheap, either. 10 legendary chests I think is something around $50.
