Pic Search allows you to easily search for images and download to your Android device. Yes, all images you'll find are public domain, licensed under Creative Commons CC0 (or very similar), so you can freely download, modify and distribute, for any use, either personal or commercial, without the need for Attribution to its authors.

Pic Search provides thousands of images (pictures and vectors). This service is provided through application programming interfaces (APIs) offered by several providers. Both the contents and the availability of the services depend exclusively on them.

We'll keep on working in order to add more features and image sources. At this moment the providers are:

Ratings and reviews

I only discovered this through their app Multi Layer editor (which I hated) - this is great, much handier than searching in the browser. Searches are fast even with my slow internet. I've emailed the dev about the Pexels search consistently failing (we'll see how responsive they are), but Unsplash and Pixabay work fine. I expect I'll find out over time which I prefer to use for which kind of image.

If you are looking for good reference photos to use for your art projects you will find an endless amount of amazing photos that are perfect! I have found this app a valuble resource!

not good experience; ask for something specific? ha! waaaaay too many hits, that had *nothing* to do w/ the search terms. Oh, and let's not forGet the screaming ads - not cool. I guess you do get what you paid for something
