About this app

The application contains selected biblical texts used in the liturgy of the Roman Catholic Church. This is a text taken by Václav Bogner and his co-workers in the 1970s and 1980s, whose selected pericopes were modified as part of a renewed edition of the Massionic Lessons and the Church's Daily Prayer in 1996-2008. The combination of these two versions causes some inconsistency in the terms used. The missing biblical books will be gradually supplemented.

The process of complete revision and completion of the liturgical translation has been in progress since 2017 - this project is entitled Czech Liturgical Translation and has its own logo, in the future it is expected to release this translation of Scripture as a unified whole. After the work, the application texts will be replaced by a revised version.
