The app "Nazi ministries in BW" is part of the funded by the Baden-Württemberg Foundation research project "History of state ministries in Baden Wuerttemberg and in the era of National Socialism." Following the understanding of a "Public History" it offers over the narrow scientific framework, extensive information services on the states of Baden and Württemberg and the state ministers and their ministries during the Nazi regime. There are also regularly blog articles on various research topics, the work of the historians involved and selected source and teaching materials.
Additionally it can be traced via the card function of the country's history of National Socialism on the spot, such as the locations of Baden and Württemberg Nazi ministries in Karlsruhe and Stuttgart, as well as additional other important historical places. The research project is aimed generally and particularly to interested citizens, school classes and courses that may have interesting source material or have researched in other contexts. For this purpose, the app offers an integrated camera feature that photographs of the materials can be sent quickly and easily directly to the employees of the Research Committee.
