About this app
AvioApp from Comet is initially a simple app that accesses and syncs AIM to your device, but in future versions, lots of features come as used by pilots in general.
Why AvioApp?
Comet has delivered apps to Aviation for several years, but primarily as solutions for large companies. It allows companies to sync files to their staff, but also so the staff can send digital reports home, thereby saving many workflows and reducing errors.
We have now chosen to create an app that gives private pilots and pilots in smaller companies access to useful tools.
Initially, the focus was on AIM and thus VFG for VFR pilots. The app checks for new updates on Naviair's website and downloads them into the app. Then you always have the latest update.
Even though we have a lot of ideas, we can not think of them all. So you're welcome to send suggestions, and rice and praise, to us at avioapp@comet.dk
AvioApp version 1.0xx:
· Synchronization of all data from AIM at Naviair
· View to folder if there are new files or new versions of a file (red dot on folder)
· Viewing file in portrait or landscape view.
· Creating Favorites - Quick Access to Your Most Used Files.
· Sync log - Check if recent sync has gone well and when ..
Things we plan (some as payment):
· Global search in documents - ie free text search in all documents.
· Space for 3. Parts info .. Clubs, magazines or others that will send material to you digitally ... It may be KDA, NERI, RFK - FLYV or others.
· Filling out forms. As a starting point, simple tachometer reading on eg airplanes will be sent by e-mail to the bookkeeper. Later, for example, forms to the Danish Transport Agency or others.
· Collect others' forms in their own app and send as collected file for eg bookkeeping.
· Your own library of documents? Have you made a package of things you want in the app?
· Selective sync - decide what you want with offline.
