The Family Friendly Hungary Center Nonprofit Public Benefit Ltd. implemented a 4-year project within the framework of a priority project aimed at improving the human and IT resources of crisis management services in order to better assist victims of domestic violence and human trafficking. Early detection and professional treatment of signs of domestic violence and abuse are essential in preventing serious crisis situations from developing, and therefore another important element of the project is the training and sensitisation of members of the child protection referral system (e.g. health visitors, GPS, family support workers, police, teachers, prosecutors, judges).
The aim is also to raise awareness among potential victims and their environment about the possibilities of seeking help, support services, to increase solidarity towards victims of abuse and to strengthen the social rejection of violence.
The multi-channel client contact system set up in the project helps crisis service providers to work in accordance with a standardised international protocol, while the information website and mobile app ensures that potential victims or their environment can quickly access information.
