Shockingly, one of the most used apps on my phone. It does what it says and hides the bars at the bottom and top of the screen, you might forget your phone is even on. I'll normally leave my phone to do something else but not be bothered to type in my password again (and use this), good for pretending your phone is off so certain siblings don't go snooping around. If you need to leave a device on, could be very useful for preventing screen burn-in. +No ads, that would defeat the purpose.

I have been using this on my ROG Phone 2, Twindock View mode. When I want one screen to be off, I just run this on one screen. It works fine and would give it a 5*, but one problem for now is that this app prevents my phone to go to sleep when it is running in one of my screens. Edit: 5* now. It was too late for me to realize that the app was designed to not allow the screen to turn off. I reached out to the developer and guess what, he made a version where the phone sleeps! They're awesome.

Great app. It's not an overlay it's just a black screen so you cannot run YouTube and this. You can put YouTube into split view/miniature, drag it into a corner leaving a tiny bit visible. Drastically decreases battery consumption when using YouTube for music with this, lowest brightness + blue light filter. For any aps that work while the screen is on, but doesn't have to be the active app (like YouTube) works. Reviews saying still has light = your device must have OLED screen.
