About this app

mpv-android is a video player for Android based on libmpv.

Features:

Use it mostly to play audio in the background. It's better than when I use Google Files, because when you put that one in the background it'll randomly stop after a while and this one is reliable Also allows you to make playlists of multiple songs, and you can even put a shuffle on the playlist And you can change the speed quite a bit ranging from 0,5-2x One annoying thing is that you can't just choose one directory as a playlist but have to pick the files one-by-one

There are limitations on my (oppo A18) device chipset it hangs when playing x265 or higher bit rate videos or videos whose size is bigger but this app plays videos that mx, vlc and other players won't sometimes it won't play withing app but if opened through file explorer or somewhere else it plays, also try closing all other app and then play or clear Chace for stop the app and try to play, for me it's working, if I can I'll rate it above any other player even top playstore

very, very good audio/player, does exactly what to expect and the best thing is select a separate audio file to play during a vídeo, so you don't have to encode the video with another audio you want, like merging with commands
