Purchased 2 sets of headphones from the Tiktok shop. The translate works but with one major drawback! It uses the microphone on your phone to listen to the conversation, not the individual earbuds. This will only work in a quiet setting where both people talking are close enough for your phone mic to hear. I had hoped that the earbuds would do the listening only using the app on your phone as a pass-through for the translation. In reality your phone hears everything around you making this useles

I recently purchased the translator off Temu. Although there were initial minor problems setting it up. I persevered and was successful in the end. Things now work perfectly. I'm off to Egypt in a couple of weeks, where there are plenty of Russians whom I do get along with on recent visits. Also some language issues with the locals, I will let you know how it goes. I'm feeling positive.

Why does a translator device and application need all permissions to even begin the app interface? If I dont grant all permissions, the interface does not work. Sorry I'm not giving you access to my photos, files, or location to translate.
