About this app

LithDict4Droid is a simple and free English-Lithuanian dictionary with a huge database and it doesn't require internet to work. This dictionary is also available in Lithuanian and English languages. It's being supported, fixed and new words are added frequently.

LithDict4Droid dictionary has many capabilities that allows you to find a word and learn the language easily, but these are the most important features:
• Absolutely free
• Integrated into e-book reading and internet browser apps for translation from text
• Sentence and text translation (this feature requires internet)
• Simple, minimal, intuitive design that just works
• Possibility to request features and fix problems in a dictionary by sending reports to the author
• Searching without Lithuanian letters
• Extended search about the word, usage examples and explanatory dictionaries (requires internet)
• English word speech synthesis, speed can be changed in the settings
• Supports a widget on main screen to show a word at a set interval
• Separate lists for history and favorites, also words can be split into categories
• Phonetic (IPA) English word pronunciation
• Night mode for those working at night :)

Possible slow start on older phones - it's because of TTS (Text-to-Speech) in the phone. Since version 1.3.6.6 there is a feature to disable TTS for faster startup.
