About this app
Versatile and easy-to-use MIDI looper and patch router. Includes sequencing tools, arpeggiator, assignable controllers and step-recorder. Features built-in controller presets for Waldorf Blofeld and Akai Miniak.
Great for sketching out and developing musical ideas. Great for connecting devices, accessing sounds, and live looping.
This is the trial ( 'try before you buy' ) version of MIDI App. Playback is limited to 3 slots at a time.
The app includes a custom low latency USB midi driver for Android 4.0 upwards. The driver was written specifically for this app and allows it to run on older devices where the Android MIDI APIs are unavailable. It won't work with every set-up ( USB OTG implementation and class compliant interfaces remain a minimum requirement ), but it does sometimes work where other apps do not.

Unlike a lot of other apps *cough cough* you can tell the developer here is familiar enough with live performance to add basic yet essential capabilities the other apps lack. Lightweight but packs a heavy punch.

The App is designed to be easy to use, so I'm sad to read you had a different experience. If you could give me a clue to the problem I would appreciate an email - support@earnestfox.com.
'MIDI Looper' ( another Earnest Fox App ) might be a better alternative for you. It is focused on looping and has a simpler interface.
