Medical Library and Information Center opened in 1994 as a medical library was renovated earlier in the College of Medicine, 3rd floor, located now in 1996, 1999 changed its name to Medical Library and Information Center.
A collection of 60,000 books and houses, and to subscribe to the various online databases and E-Book like every year, of more than 9,000 kinds of printed and electronic journals, ClinicalKey, UpToDate, CINAHL with FT, Cochrane Library, JCR, the audio-visual classrooms, seminar rooms, video and sound equipment in the conference rooms and support management, poster printing and video production services, media data.
In 2000 introduced a computerized library system and website were to enlarge the area of automation and information services business, in 2005 there was introduced a redesigned website, the (Korea Resource Sharing Alliance) KORSA -ASP system, International, since July 2007 the English website so that they can take advantage of the foreign exchange and foreign users has established a training program.
Since December 2010 OAK-R (Open Access KOREA Repository) to participate in the project by building AJOU Open Repository System (http://repository.ajou.ac.kr) agency researchers have produced a dissertation, thesis, research intellectual products such as reports, conference presentations to accumulate, preserve, distribute and perform the function of, and in September 2012 opened the thematic information service website (http://libguides.ajou.ac.kr) user and it provides information on medical topics in the field data type. Since March 2013, article submission before calibration service (paper format and image editing) and has been providing services Medical Illustration of human-related images.
January 2016 there was a website overhaul with the introduction SLIMA library system, and enables a wide range of information accessible by adding Mobile functions.
