NLB Pay – a mobile wallet!

The NLB Pay mobile wallet allows you to make contactless payments at POS terminals and ATMs in the country and abroad by digitizing your NLB Payment cards from the Visa and Master Card program in Google Pay, as well as digitizing and using all your loyalty cards.

The payment method is simple, fast and safe. To pay, you only need to bring your mobile phone close to the contactless POS terminal or ATM.
The NLB Pay application can be used on mobile phones with Android operating system 7.0 and higher)

After the seller enters and confirms the payment amount, just bring your mobile phone closer to the POS terminal and your payment is made. All payments made with your cards digitized in the NLB Pay mobile wallet are displayed in the "Transactions" section.

Step 1: DOWNLOAD

Download the NLB Pay Makedonija app from Google Play.

Step 2: ACTIVATION

• Enter your EMBG (unique identity number of the citizen) and your telephone number registered with NLB Bank.
• Enter the one-time password you received via SMS and validate a card with the PIN code from the card.
• Define your personal 4-digit password and your NLB Pay mobile wallet is activated. You can access NLB Pay using biometric authentication, if this option is supported by your phone.
• Enable the payment cards you want to digitize in NLB Pay (enabling is done by verifying the card's PIN code).
• Select the ja NLB Mastercard / Visa card that you most often use for payment as the main card and follow the instructions to digitize it through Google Pay. You can also add other previously enabled NLB cards to Google Pay by selecting the "Add to G Pay" button

STEP 3: USE

• To make a payment with the main card, you only need to unlock your mobile phone and bring it closer to the POS terminal or ATM. If you want to pay with another card that is not set as the main one, you need to activate the NLB Pay application, select the card you want to pay with and select the "Pay" button.

• NLB Pay is available to users of Mastercard and Visa payment cards of NLB Bank



STEP 4: DIGITALIZATION OF LOYALTY CARDS

• Select the loyalty section in the NLB Pay application
• Take a picture of the loyalty card and place it in the frame
• Scan the barcode on the loyalty card (scanning the barcode starts by selecting the – sign) or enter the barcode data manually
• Enter the optional details of the loyalty card holder, the issuing merchant and enter a description of the card for easy identification.
• After successfully adding the loyalty card, to use it, you only need to log in to the application, select the loyalty card and show it to the merchant to scan the barcode

I can't use the app (not even after the newest update). I am getting an error message that states "На вашиот уред е овозможена proxy конфигурација", which is not true. I am getting this error message only when I switch to mobile data (A1 network operator). On the other hand, when I try using the app on a wifi network, it works just fine. But it doesn't make any sense, since I will be paying in stores in which I have to use my mobile data.

I've been using this application for more than a year now and I was stunned when I saw the last update showing the new feature of adding VISA cards that worked great for few days, but since than (for weeks now) the application is not working at all, showing the following message: "System is temporarily not available.Please try again." Please fix this error with the following update that you will release.

Does not work on Android 10. Edit: After trying to contact the NLB helpdesk, I got the following automatic reply message: "The recipient's mailbox is full and can't accept messages now. Please try resending this message later, or contact the recipient directly." Totally unprofessional like everything else in this country.
