About this app

This is an app that allows you to read news distributed by Nikkan Shikyo Tsushinsha, a metal recycling trade paper. It also has a breaking news notification function such as price changes. You can view the latest recycling-related information focusing on ferrous and non-ferrous metals on your smartphone or tablet.

■Distributing the latest information such as scrap market prices and industry trends
In addition to articles on domestic and international metal scrap prices and various statistics published in Nikkan Market News (daily newspaper) and Metal Recycling Monthly (monthly magazine), we also distribute news articles based on interviews and in-house research every day (*1). You can view the latest recycling-related information anytime, anywhere (*2) on your smartphone or tablet.

■Simple layout and article search function added
We have created a simple layout that is easy to use and read. Tap the graphs and photos in the article to enlarge them. Please use statistics and graphs for data collection, etc. Also, by pressing the clip mark next to the title of an article, you can stock the corresponding article in "Clip" in the MENU list. We have set up a search function on the site. You can search and view past articles by entering keywords.

■We will inform you quickly about price revisions etc. with the "breaking news notification function"
The app is equipped with a "breaking news notification function". When major ferrous scrap prices and non-ferrous metal prices are revised, or when there is breaking news, a notification will be sent to your smartphone or tablet to let you know as soon as possible (*2).

■Introducing “market table”
"Market table" has been added to the item. You can view the "ferrous scrap market price" and "non-ferrous scrap market price" published in the daily market report by date.

*1 = Excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
*2=An internet communication environment is required to update to the latest news or use the "breaking news notification function".


To view articles on the app, you need to subscribe to the daily newspaper and register as a member. Please access the registration screen from the QR code posted on the Nikkan Market News website or advertisements in the paper, and register as a member (ID issued).
