The ads kick in after your first couple play sessions and become REALLY annoying. I have to wonder if that's an effective marketing strat, but I'm just uninstalling. Not sure what made me bother to try again after years of not bothering. READ THE REVIEWS. the devs even say "sorry the ads are frustrating, buy the $10 no ads pack!" and then people who have bought it still get ads? I'm out. So glad I didn't spend money.

Great game, I like that all the ads are pretty much optional unless you do a small list of different actions (like opening a normal package), but that only happens once in a couple of minutes. Some of the bigger fish feel like they have huge health bars and don't pop up enough for it to be worth it to whittle down their health for the big catch. There are other gripes I'm sure I have, but even then, great game

Be wary.. There is a "starter pack" that is 9.99 and gets you with the "tired of adds? - buy this and no more ads!" They will discount it to 5.99, and include "no ads" as part of the benefits, along with gems, a worker, etc. like there is a picture with "no ads" included in the bundle. You have to make a purchase of over 9.99 to remove the ads... So even though i bought it, I still have ads. that annoys me a lot.
