About this game

Play the card game Klondike, (also known as Klondike Solitaire, or Klondike Patience, but usually known as just Solitaire or Patience), is played using a single pack of 52 playing cards without jokers.

The objective of the game Klondike is to move all of the cards to the four foundations at the top right. These four foundations are built by placing cards of the same family / suit in ascending order from the Ace through to the King. This is achieved by finding the cards within the dealt seven columns of cards, or within the remaining deck.

The seven columns of cards can only be built upon by placing cards in descending or order and in alternating red/black colours. Vacant spaces allow placement of either only a King of any suit, or any card. This depend on the Klondike game settings that have been configured in the settings page.

The game supports the following configurable game options:
- Dealing: One card, or three cards.
- Vacant spaces: Allow any card, or only Kings to be placed there.
- Number of passes through the deck: Only once, Three Times, Five Times, or Unlimited

The game also allows an alternative variety of Klondike to be played where the initial seven columns of cards are all dealt face up. This variant is called "Thoughtful Klondike".
