The road construction materials that are to be tested in a laboratory are subgrade soil, embankment fill gravel soils, capping layer gravel soils, sub base course gravel soils and base course granular materials. The required tests are carried out by internationally accepted testing methods such as AASHTO, ASTM, BSI, etc.
